ok guys, there is a big discaimer on this one before you listen to it. I did this in a little less then an hour, everything is the first take. I know the drum machine is annoying, thats because i didnt feel like setting up the drum mics. I know i screwed up like 399 times

With that out of the way

I am really looking for eq suggestions on piano\bass(i know i need turn it down) and vox

Its called Watch it Go Down Rough Draft

Thanks soooo much to everyone that listens and responds

Cool song.

Just a tip: your not going to get a lot people of spending time listening to a song you didn't spend time on.

Your song grooved though.

good point man and thanks for listening
i am just trying to get some help on how to improve the sound of the piano bass and vox...

even if i spend hours trying to improve them they would still sound like they do now(minus the mistakes)

so any recommendations on EQ or effets would be uber appreciated

thanks so much

signs kinda like G love and special sauce meets A.J. Croce.....

Cool thing going on there...... if you refine it, tighten up the vocals and timing a little, it'd be pretty damn good.

fine job.

Nice tune.Sounds a lot like ben folds...the panning is the only thing that sounds bad right now(except for the few mistakes here and there)...the bass should be panned back towards the center....the piano could stand not to be so extremely panned to the right also...it wouldnt be so distracting if there was some other type of melodic instrument like a guitar or another piano part playing in the left side to even out the balance.........just some thoughts.....is this a cover or an original?Either way,it's a nice little tune.

deemic- thanks alot I am a pretty big G Love fan so that means alot, thanks for taking the time to listen

kramer- Ben Folds was probably the influence behind this song, i have been listening to alot of ben folds lately. Thanks for the tips, exactly what i was looking for. When I am done tracking the full version I will post it.

This is indeed an original

Thanks a ton and thanks to any future posts
