hey ya'll, was wondering wat are some nice headphones with little to sound leakage from them for around the $200 price area!

AKG K 240M's are the headphones of choice in the leading recording studios. Affordable and comfortable during extended wear, these deluxe circumaural stereo headphones provide excellent directional sound perspective and distance discrimination, faithfully simulating hearing in natural room conditions. The bottom line? This is probably the best value in a set of headphones you will ever find.

all Sony Closed End headphones are real damn good also

I have Audio Technica M30's in my studio, and I have zero bleed from them in the booth. I paid under $100 a piece for them.

radio shack. $30. Isolate from outside noise. 16 foot cable.

Except for when you buy them at Best Buy for $62 and the right headphone doesn't work.

LOL..I hope you took them back and cursed them out for selling you a bad product..

the audio technicas actually caught my eye!

im thinking about them, but man those AKG's are nice man!

Agree on the AKG's, but I'd suggest the 240S because they seem sturdier and have the detachable cable.

Sorry man...

Im coppin the AKG's from Guitar Center, i just instantly fell in love over them the moment i saw them. I think its the gold trim on them that got me, yup, it was the gold trim.

Im a sucker for shiny things!

wait!!!!
I use the senheiser hd 25 they are perfect . they are actually designed for dj's so they carry low real good and also block outside noise as well as deliver the hi's at a reasonable price of 100

I just got the 240S headphones. The detatchable cable is a negative. The connection where you can detatch them is a bit touchy. It cuts out one side sometimes, then you touch the connection and it'll come back in on both sides.

Other than that, they're awesome headphones so I'd say go with the akg's but the ones with a permanent cable.

Strange, that's the problem I had with the M's...well that and the plastic covers break off. Haven't had that problem with the S's.
