Holy god, men (and women), do not try this!

I think newer versions of Auto-tune are okay, but if you get a freebie older version (1.3 I think) DO NOT LOAD THIS INTO YOUR WIN XP MACHINE! I got this off of a software disc that came free with my Delta soundcard. JEEZUS MARY & JOSEPH - it creams the system.

Anyway, I found out today after doing a search on the web that this is a big no no. Other people have had this same misfortune - thought I'd pass it along.

Actually... I should have posted aboot this topic a while ago. I got a Delta 44 and it came with some sample software and Autotune was one of em... well.. I'm running a Win XP Pro setup and it has been the most stable system I've ever owned... I installed Autotune.. and Holy Lord, I almost wet my pants... it was instant blue screens and freezes and random reboots... That thing is like bad Mexican Food for your computer...

Fortunately, a normal uninstall gets rid of all the problems,.. but I just couldn't believe how bad one little program could screw up my entire system... I've seen viruses that do less damage...
