Hey I need some serious help with CEP 2.0. I have been using Logic Audio Platinum and Cubase but after trying CEP I am convinced I need to switch!!. The problems are as follows:

1. When I record I can't hear the track I am recording, but I can hear other tracks and the metronome. I can see the levels, but I can't hear it.

2. EVERYTIME I arm a track to record, I have to go to Options>Monitor Record Levels to see my levels in CEP. I know the sound card controls the input levels, but I need to see them in CEP.

I would appreciate any help that any of you experts can give me.
Thanks!

Part one of your question sounds like you need to check your windows mixer to make sure it is turned up in the right place..

Part two of your question is you have to click the show record levels if you are not recording.

Still no luck!

I'm still having no luck and it's very frustrating. I have checked my windows mixer and I have my wave input, wave output, and metronome out all set to the same sound card device. When I am recording, I can't hear my input for the track I'm recording but I can hear the other tracks and the metronome. On the playback I can hear all tracks fine. Any suggestions?

I have "Show levels on Play and Record" checked. Still, if I want to see my input level, I have to click monitor record levels every time I arm a track for recording. Is this normal?

Thanks for your time guys.
