Wanted To Buy: M-Audio DMP3 pre amp

I'm looking for a decent quality mic pre amp. I'd prefer a DMP3 (I see more favorable comments on that unit in that price range) but could be open to some other suggestions if offered.
Unfortunately, money is tight...so I thought I'd post it here before I went looking elsewhere.
