Hi, my name is Imani:
I have a Roland XP-30 for sale... I've owned it for about four years... It has the factory banks PLUS two added expansion cards in it (HIP-HOP & ASIA). It is in great condition, kept in a smoke free environment and kept covered when not in use. Display screen still has plastic covering on it to prevent scratches, no dust no dirt, kept emaculate... let me know if you want to see pictures...
 
Where are you situated Imani... if in the US.. that's a problem for me because shipping costs to Canada, exchange, and duty usually make it too expensive. If you are in Canada.. how much are looking for?

Hey Jumpman,

I wouldn't rule out shopping used in the states from Canada. On some items, I find I'm still saving 30-%50 after shipping, and if you're buying used, duties need not apply. If you're wanting to buy new and if you haven't checked already, see if L&M can order one in for you. They usually are pretty good with price matching the american retailers after duties and shipping are factored in.
 
I purchased a movie trailer of Staying Alive a year or two ago... it cost me $10 CDn on ebay... when it arrived at my place I payed $5US for shipping and i was charged $20Cdn for duty that had to be paid at my front door. In total, it ended up costing me about $40 CDN (quite the markup). I learned my lesson... Is used electronic equipment duty free?
 
I am in the Toronto area and the thing is, I've never bought from an online retailer, either I'll buy on ebay or privately, mainly used. Now I can tell you honestly that out of the many transactions I've done thus far, I'm yet to pay a single cent in duties, just shipping. :)
In fact, I just picked up a mic from a forum member here from Michigan recently with no problems and saved myself quite a bit of money.

I just purchased a roland xp-30 from BC, Canada for $645 CDN... it comes with damper pedal and expression pedal. Thanks to all those who gave me advice.
