wanted - powered moniters under 200

just bought the digi 002 rack, need a pair of moniters for under 200 , on a big budget for now, what have you got ?

do they need to be used? cause american music supply has some M-audio DX4s brand new for $149

there are some other ones for 149 at musiciansfriend.com a pair of ESI somethingorothers are $199 with a 5.25" woofer. it may be of no concern but i just used my multi media speakers until i could afford some decent ones

GC has the Event TR5N's for $249....more than your budget but worth it.....

i've never tried the dx4s abut i havent heard a complaint about an m-audio product yet....for 149 i wouldnt expect the world....or even a continent...maybe a small island in the pacific though lol

its hard enuff mixing on a 5.25" speker....i cant see how it can be done with a 4"........

god knows...all i know is theres an expansion pack with 2 other speakers and a seperate sub that you can get...personally i thought about it when it was drilled into me that i needed monitor speakers..but i went for a 6.5" so i'd have some kind of bass response....now I'm starting to think i shoulda gone with the 8"s
