Hey,

Anybody out there willing to sell a Studio Projects C1 and/or pair of MXL 603s's (matched or not - either way)?

I'm doubting I'll get much response, but I figured I'd try. Make me a deal!

I sold my C1 not too long ago. I think I want one again! Certain peoples voices sound better on that mic for some reason.

So make that two... but BJW gets the first one since he asked :)

Haha, thanks umair. I noticed a dealer on Ebay is selling them with a boom stand for $199 with free shpping (I think - shipping might be extra). Not bad cause you get a free boom stand, I guess.

VTGreen, I checked out those mxl's on ebay and called Abe's music. The guy (who sounded freakin half dead) said they don't sell those any more. I asked what about the auction still on ebay and he was like, "uh. . . ..well. . . umm, I think, uh. . .some . . body was. . .supposed to take. . .uh, that auction. . .off. . . .)

So yeah, I don't think I wanna bid on those, but thanks for the tip.

I can't remember what but I bought from Abe's in the past ewith good results. They are usually pretty good. I never spoke to them though so I don't know why the guy sounded half baked.

Damn, I shouldn't have sold my C1. I got a Rode NTK, which is nice and everything but for our singer's voice, the C1 seems to suit him better.
I'll still keep the NTK but it would be nice to have the C1.
I'll check out that auction even though I have about 12 boom stands.

might not be for u if you don't need a stand. You wanting to part with any of them, though? I might buy a few if the price is right.

Yeah, at least they were honest with me and didn't wait till I bid on the matched pair and then send me 2 separate unmatched mikes. I suppose I would guy from them thinking about it that way.

Looks like I've got the 603s's taken care of. Now to get a C1.

Alright, well I got my C1 now, too. I got the stereo matched pair of 603s's for $165 shipped and the C1 for $159 shipped, plus some cables. That's $324 for all of it - not too bad I guess.
