Want to hear myself louder in the headphones... HELP!

I use a Yamaha GO46 Firewire Recording interface connected to a AT 3035 microphone setup. As for headphones, I have the ATH-M30.

What I'm wondering is how I can hear what's going into the mic louder inside the headphones without raising the gain so it records louder. There is no knob for that. Do I need a new interface in order to achieve this or is there something else I can do? Please let me know. Much appreciated...

You can buy a small headphone amp. Rolls makes one and Behringer makes one.

If you are in protools could you not just make like a aux track and bus it..use the aux like a monitor... then jack the aux channel way up...then after you got it recorded then go back to your stero 1-2 out.. if you are wanting the over volume of the sound going into your head phones to be louder you would need the headphone amp..So i guess the question is do want to be louder in a mix or just louder headphones..
