Want a new synth. Any suggestions?

I recently eveluated my music gear which I bought the last couple of years and findd that perhaps it's time to get me some new sounds. I produce techno, trancetrip hop and dance music.

Currently my set up looks like this;

* Roland JP-8080
* Akai S3000XL
* Oberheim Matrix-1000
* Roland JV-1080
* Yamaha CS1X
* Roalnd TR-909
* Roland TB-303
* Deep Bass Nine

And some effect processors and an enhancer.

I am thinking about selling the Matrix, the Deep Bass Nine and the CS1X. Or should I keep the CS1X? My eye fell on the Novation Super Nova II (keyboard series) but I haven't heard it yet.

The synth I want has to be USER FRIENDLY with lots of editing utilities.

Is this a wise decision? Please some advice.

Since your into Trance, Trip Hop, Dance etc. have you ever checked out any Emu modules such as Planet phatt, Orbit or Audity? Those are specifically made for that type of music..

Don't forget to look...

...at Clavias stuff, the Nord series of synths.

Since you already have samplers AND analog-emulating stuff, you have covered most. But a Nord Modular would be a useful addition to any setup. http://www.clavia.se/

Or, of you want a unique sound, but maybe not that wide sound range, look at the SIDstation. Definitely unique in sound... http://www.sidstation.com/

Both can make a lot of good dance-noises.
