This is an amateur recording of a group im in called Artichokes Last Breath which consists of 3 members doing every style of music you can think of, from stuff that is beyond stupid and pointless to things you have probably never heard before. We just recorded a cd the point of our group is comedy so we basically ruin our songs with stupid stuff but this is one on the more serious side about a Depressed Robot so keep that in mind when listening to the lyrics.

heres another really spacey sounding song

Maybe too Floydish. I don't know.
I love Floyd but than I expect more sound.
It was a little bit tiny.
By the way, I liked the song.

Pink Floyd?!!? Robots??!?! If you were a chick, and I weren't married and mostly faithful, I'd have to try to hook up with ya. Anyway, the first song sounded pretty cool. I didn't really listen to closely to the lyrics, but I liked the vibe of it. I think the vocals could be a bit more energetic - maybe um...record them uh...not stoned. there i said it. Also, the robo voice is too loud. I ended up having to turn the volume down when that kicked in. granted I'm listening at work, so I have to keep everything pretty low.

Cool stuff man... lots and lots and lots of floyd :D
I dig the guitar tones. I'd thicken them up a bit though. Maybe double track the rhythm, a song like this sounds like it'd benefit from a full "wall of sound" approach.
Also the robot just doesn't sit right to me. It sticks out too much. That's a great idea though.
Cool stuff!

I like it. Nice work. I am listening through cans only atm, but I'd recommend:

1) The robot voice sounds like you're going for the Paranoid Android feel, which is cool, but I'd pan is to one side or stereo pan it. Then, drop the gain on it. Last, I would think about running something on it degrade/dirty up the sound of the robot some.

2) Needs thickening, especially in the intro. Perhaps a mild pad at the beginning? The lead definately needs some thickening - perhaps some reverb or even delay. The lead also distorts on a few spots - not sure if that was intentional.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed listening to this piece. ;)

yeh the approach is really not very serious at all so the robot was done like that on purpose
