w00t! I just finished installing another sotrage hard drive in my computer. My question is should it matter if the BOOT drive is NTFS and the STORAGE drive is FAT32? It seems to work fine as is, just curious.

When I rebuilt my computer with XP, the external drives were FAT32. I did a lot of reading and finally concluded that everything ought to be converted to NTFS. There will no doubt be a lot of disagreement, but my thinking is, you want everything to be read by your OS, and why stick with something old? There's a reason NTFS replaced FAT32, and it wasn't because it was crappier. There are persons who obsess about these issues, but for me it all runs about the same, regardless of track count, so why worry? Keep up to date. I can run as many tracks as I need (my songs seem to max out around 20) so any esoteric concerns are just that. I might also add that I have run the computer since February a year ago without a crash.

I should also mention that the BOOT drive is SATA and the STORAGE drive is ATA. I think it's fine though.
