Hi All,
I'm in the process of attempting to set-up my VX400 vocal effects processor after a few years in a cupboard. I'm having a bit of an issue with it though. I get through the programme installations ok (I think). Using X-edit 2 and Protracks 2.2, i've been following the old instructions as i did when i last used the device but can't seem to get any kind of output at all.
The VX400 appears to be working ok in its normal "stage" mode but i've noticed that while selecting the MIDI drivers, outputs 1&2 (the suggested outputs in the instructions and the ones i used 5 years ago) appear to be missing. The only available option is to use outputs 3&4. Another thing is that i can't hear any kind of sound when i play the tutorials on protracks, even when nothing is connect to the computer and it should just be playing the track. It's definitely not muted and other sounds from other programmes seem fine.
Yep, i'm stumped.
Any suggestions or advice would be most gratefully received!
P.S. Sorry in advance if it's something really silly, obvious and covered in the FAQ's. I've had a bit of a trawl over the forum and couldn't find much to help me, at least so far... there's so much to read!
