VTB-1: Polarity Reverse

Hi Alan! (and everyone else)

I finally have my VTB-1 (Yippy!). I'm a rap producer so all I have to record are vocals (and sometimes three person at a time singing). My microphone is a C1. Now I'm wondering (and sorry for my ignorance)...

- What does the polarity reverse switch does? What is polarity reversal?

- And, is it of any utility for my type of recording?

If you only have one microphone, don't worry about it.

If you're curious anyway, do a search for "polarity" on this site. I've answered this question in depth a half dozen times. I'm getting too lazy to type it all out again!

If you are using 2 mics and in the right position they can cancel each other out. so having this switch will cure that.
