vst3

Hi, i just installed cubase studio 4 and am not able to use any vst3 plugins. When I go through the steinberg folder in program files there is a VST3 and VST3 PRESETS folders but when i open up cubase i can't find any button to use them. How can i get them to work??

Is your audio sound card setup correctly? I.e. the correct driver is selected for you sound module under device setup and vst connections. I've had the same problem and solved it eventually after I configured the system correctly against my Fireface 800.

My sound card is well configured...i cant figure it out! this is frustrating. Do you have to install them seperatly?

I get the impression that you have not read the get starting manual.

VST's you find as follows:

Click on the small e (of effects) in the inspector or the track list.

Now The VST Audio Channel Settings Window opens. Now click on the left side on an insert slot and a list of VST's shows up.
