Hi,
I use Nuendo (v3.2) as a VST synth player live in my band. When I load a project up, some of the vst synths I have running in the project start at maximum volume, and I have to move the fader slightly or double click the fader for it to register the level the meter says its at. I use the track mixers (not the instrument mixers) - if I use the instrument mixers, this doesnt happen, but its inconvenient uising those especially as things like Kontakt open 32 (!) instrument mixers.
It's really frustrating live, having to go through about 30 tracks and doing this for each one. I tried grouping them and moving all the faders up or down a bit, but that doesn't work either.
It seems to happen especially with linplug alpha.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anyway I can fix this without reverting to using the instrument mixers to set the volume of VST synths?
Also, why for some VST instruments can you use the track mixer to adjust the volume and others you can't?
I tried researching this on the net but came up with nothing... hopefully one of you can help!
Thanks,
Sache
