Hello, I have the following questions that I cannot seem to figure out. Thanks in advance.
-Can you record effects 1&2 together on 1 track?
If so, why does it play/sound Mono?

-If you don't "record" effects onto track but still use. Can/will it be memorized upon mixdown?

-Are you only able to use 2 effects per track at a time without recording the effects onto a track? IE; Playback w/effects and use effects while recording another track?

-Without recording effect "onto" track, can you add on defferent effects onto "each" playback track? Or do "all" the track share the same effects settings on playback?

I have the VM3100 which I believe is similar in regards to effects.

You can assign any channel to the effects using the effects sends. The effects are only for monitoring purposes unless you "print" the effects to a track or record the master output for your final mix.

If you record the effects on one Mono track it will oddly enough be Mono. If you want them to be stereo you need to record them to 2 tracks.

You can store the effects parameters to be recalled later.

You should probably just wait until mixdown and set up the effects for a little bit of reverb or delay and assign your tracks to them as you need it. Record the master outs on your comp or whatever you mix down to and you will have the effects in your final mix.

The only time you should really need to record the effects onto a track is if your doing an effect that is very specific to that track (compression, guitar effects, odd delays).
