VS2400 vs Digi002

im still looking at getting a new mixer to do some recordings and now im stuck debating between the digi002 and the vs2400. both have their perks but im wondering what you would recomend in terms of sound quality, effects, flexibility, and overall usage

I don't know anything about the Roland unit, but it seems to me that the 002 is very weak as just a mixer- only 4 XLR inputs, no busses. I'm not sure about the quality of the internal effects as I've never had the occasion to use them. I probably should, just to get the hang of it.

The 002 kicks boo-tay as a computer interface with Pro Tools, though. Worth every penny, in that regard, in my opinion. If you aren't looking for a pro tools system, though, the 002 is WAY too expensive for a stand-alone mixer!
