First I like the Ghost and think it superior to the mackie 8 bus. Why? Better eq, better pre's, better layout, better ingredients (whats inside) Not that the mackie isn't good console, the ghost is just better. Doesn't mean that the people who use them are lesser people or can't get good results. Bruce uses one and stays busy so I assume he does a good job. I feel (this is where I tell you my opinion) the Ghost out does the mackie in live and recording situations. Likewise my SSL and my Midas consoles beat the shit out of everything! HA HA

Last Salsa is terrible, cheese , bean and like a ranch dip are great. Salsa is just terrible, tomatos are terrible also see http://www.homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26331

How much is a ghost?.... I had a budget when I bought my mack. As I said in earlier posts, I like soundcraft, But the ghost is a more expensive board isn't it... So Im sure the ghost would make me cream in my pants if i tried it. I totally believe Sonusman and everyone else who.. said it was awesome, but also some said the ghost is more expensive... The 32/8 is the only 8 buss semi-pro.. (or whatever you want to call it) board I was willing to fork over $$$ for....Even the $7000 Canadian (roughly) that I paid was a bit steep since im only a hobbyist / sometimes pro.....Hows about this.... I'll trade you even for your SSL, and heck, I will even throw in the $1200 meter bridge to go with the 32/8...(Joking)

Wow, the ghost is not quite there, yet creaping up to DOUBLE the price of my mackie... there is no comparison..... I agree then,it probably is a way better board........

I just got my popcorn and found a good seat, but it looks like the entertainment is over.
