Microtech-Gefell. Although there are several other manufacturers with great mics, only Gefell has a full range of great mics, SDs, SDs with nickle diaphrams, LDs galore, many with the original M7 capsules, and wonderful tube mics. Plus, they look really cool.
 
Wouldn't it be Neumann-Gefell, Microtech is a secondary company that ended up taking over Gefell in the 80s and Neumann was the company that was in Gefell, so it's Neumann-Gefell, not that it matters, the new Neumann's are crap compared to the older ones. It's kinda sad when you think about it.

The Neumann TLM103 and M149 are far from crappy, in fact they are pretty decent mics.:D

I think he's talking about a special pickup he's developed that attaches directly to the vocal chords -- you plug that baby in to a coutryman and it's audio bliss, I tell ya.
 
I was wondering what the cable running out of Warren's ass was for...now I know.
