hello
i have a big question
i have a allen%heath gs3 mixer 24/8/2
i have a roland 8 tr recorder
i have a voicemaster compressor

i tought i could use the focusrite as a stereo voicecompressor, so i could connect it on my subchannel (gs3) 1 and 2
it is not possible
what is the best way to mix my recorded vocals and compress them at the same time
i think i fucked up
what is the good sollution
peace peter

Peter,

What I would do is assign your vocal tracks to 2 of your group masters, (they would be your L& R) then use the group master inserts with the focusrite. This configuration would be at mixdown.

I have several Allen Heath mixers. I have a GS3 also.

Hope this helps,

hi tga
wsup?
i get what you mean
only the mixmaster has :
1 mono line input and 1 mic input which i have to choose
1 mono line output -4db
1 output +10db
1 de-esser output +10db

can i use the last 2 then?

something else, what you think of the
allen and heath SABRE 32/16/2 of 1993
is it a better mixer then the gs3
they told me that mixer cost more then 13000 us dollar NEW
what you think of it
peace peter

Peter,

Uhhhhh.

I assumed that the foucusrite was stereo. Du. Don't have an answer. Looks like you are stuck with mono only.

And an other strike out too. I am post 1994 on Allen Heath consloes. I am running a GS3000 now.:D But any questions after that I will try to help.

Sorry
