Voice software

For years I've been trying to get a good vocalist to work with. In the end it almost always ends up with issues.

Found one singer I work with on a semi regular basis and did one song with a male singer that was great but he's more involved with live. Also did some producing on other people's song. End results after hours of production work is great but it's not really mine and can't release it via my channels.

I have a semi proper understanding of vocals and theory so it's extra frustrating i don't like my own voice and can't sing what i want to.

I'm against any form of ai that takes away creativity. I don't mind short cuts like drummer, bassist etc. I see them as session musicians you can fine tune for hours (which i do ;)) it's still 100% my song and music.

All the solutions i saw for singing where ai based and in all honesty where just spitting out content which makes nothing you....

When i saw an add popup from synth v it looked interesting and decided to download the demo en bought it a few days later.

If you're like me wanting Total control this is great.
Its super easy to get a guideline for a singer (minutes) but you can also really dive in and change literally everything.

Working with the software reminds me of a band i recorded decades ago with an awesome singer that i spend hours with getting the exact right emotion and expression. You can change everything per syllable and pitch/performance.

Voices are expensive but so versatile i think 2-3 will set you up for life (how many singers do you need ?)

Anyone here using similar software and sharing tips?

And how do you feel about this kind of software ?
Personally I'll always prefer a real singer without any doubt. But it has to be possible and affordable. And i think with this kind of flexibility it's more like an instrument. If you don't know how a singer sings it will sound like that ;)
