simple posting...i'm looking for a piece of apps that can remove the vocals from a song....or split the beat and the vocals...if anyone here can help it would be GREATly appreciated....

free piece of multi track recording software: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
although I suppose you could do this with any good piece of recording software if you know what you're doing... anyway... sometimes this will work on removing the vocal... but there's always going to be a little bleed over even if this technique works...

look for 2. Can I remove the vocals from a recording?... if it doesn't go straight to it

Nothing will be a 'cure all', short of having the master tracks. But you should be able to take any stereo recording, reverse the phase on one of the tracks (right or left) and that should greatly reduce the volume of the vox. That's pretty easy to do with almost any recording program.
