Hey all, I figured I'd ask here since I trust your opinions over random internet reviews...
Simply, I'm looking for a hardware vocoder, something affordable and intelligible with tweakable settings. I've heard the MicroKorg in use and I like what sounds have come from it, but I'm not trying to drop $400 and I don't really need another synth. I love that Roger Troutman talkbox sound, but to be honest I'm not totally sure how those work (do they with any keyboard/synth??) I've been browsing eBay, saw some different pedals and rack units, but really have no idea what the functionality or quality of any of these things are, as I've never used any sort of vocoder besides Autotune, but nevermind that.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!
