Vocals in Zeppelin's When the Levee Breaks

Are they distorted/clipping slightly when they come in? Not in the middle part where they more obviously are...

If so, I think I like it. Sounds like subtle preamp clipping to me?

I think it's a green bullet through a Fender Deluxe Reverb (or whatever Plant was using for harmonica at the time).
