How do I work autotune in sonar 4? I can figure out how to change one part to a specific pitch?

Is there a better program i can use for vocal corrections?

Auto tune and Melodyne are the two pitch correction programs that are available. They both require you to know what note you are supposed to be hitting and/or the key of the song. No matter what, you can't be that far off in pitch or the correction will sound wierd.

Yup! Going up five semitones will really screw you up! :D

drathbun (and others): I bought Sonar 5 PE for the primary reason that they had V-Vocal. While it's useful occasionally, I think in retrospect I would've rather bought Cubase SX3. V-Vocal is not a very transparent shifter - you can hear some pretty serious phasing in it on some voices, especially if they're breathy or airy. It sounds like MP3 compression in your song, which is not so attractive. I don't know anything about Melodyne, but I'm certainly curious. Anyway, bottom line, if V-Vocal is the only reason you're thinking about getting Sonar 5 PE... think some more, because I don't think it's worth the extra $$.
