I'm with Jam-all on this one... if she's got a pinch of talent and a lot of looks, she's got a chance.
Her talents sound about 90% there (some false vibrato & stuff...) a good vocal coach could help... but she's pretty good, actually.
The real question is... doesn't she have any industry insider "connections", having Sally Field as her step-uncle?

This thread has gone off course.LOL.The question was "is she good enough to be a demo singer for the songs gidge is pitching"......not "is she good enough to be pitched as an artist"........it doesnt matter what she looks like if she's just the singer for the demo pitches.

Kramer has the right focus on this.
It's a very cheaply done recording at a party where she doesn't even know she's being recorded. Do you play better when you're doing a take for real? Of course you do.
And listen to a lot of popular singers (Like Britney) when they're just singing live with no technical help. A lot of them suck! This girl certainly didn't suck so put her in a studio situation and work a little bit and I'm pretty sure you could get something useful. And even if you don't, you'll learn some more about recording. But I think she could do a decent job.
