How do u achieve the echo in before the vocals start?.. As in most songs, how the vocals fade in, but it sounds like they echo...?

Sometimes I set the reverb pre-fader and close the dry fader and open the aux fader,then during mix down,open the dry fader or unmute it at the desired time and mute or close the wet aux fader.I don't know if this is what your looking for.You may wan't to reverse the reverb.

Do I do that by reversing the wave file then adding the effects, and then revering it back?

I'm not sure how you would do it on your set up.I have reverse reverb as a preset on my effects unit.It sound like your on the right track though.Experiment with doing that and see what happens.

play it backwards and record the wet reverb or mix on a different track. When you play it all back forwards you have Preverb!
