Vocal Effects

I love the vocal effects in Jamie xx - Far Nearer. I work with FL Studio 10 and I have been messing around with the Parametric EQs but cant really get the right sound. If anyone have any ideas or even any VST worth downloading, It would be greatly appreciated.
 
I'm loving the vocal strip within Sonar but I don't know if you can buy it separately bruv. Maybe time to get something a bit more pro than FL and use it as a plugin in another DAW instead?
