I've been singing through a mono BBE max. and Yamaha SPX90 for vocal effects on stage for ever. I just use one magical patch (tremolo) right now but I'm looking for something else. (Verbs, delay, etc.)
Is there any suggestions for gear for this use? I'm talkin plug and play, DI out to the house PA, total control rig. I'm also tired of menus and scolling and programming. I need realtime dials, I have a midi controller to change patches but for on the fly tweaking, I need dials.
I play heavy distorted stuff and I'm considering a cheap tube DI (behringer maybe) for the end of the chain to control the headroom in case we're in a room with a PA with too much clairity.
Any advice will be cherished
