Vocal Chain

Im thinking about buying a vocal chain. This is what I have in mind.

Akg Perception 200>Studio Projects Vtb1>Presonus Inspire>Computer

What you think about that vocal chain. Will it give me a warm, thick, and upfront vocals?

You're not likely to get the results you're looking for on the first shot out of the box. That's all medium quality gear, and if you use it wisely you CAN get first class results.

Take your time, and don't expect miracles overnight. Burn some CD's of your first efforts and set them aside for reference, then come back in 3, 6 or 9 months and see how they sound compared to the results you're getting with that same gear at that time.

The link in that chain that I would question is the microphone. There are many other similar mics in that same price range and if you decide on the AKG to soon it may or may not be the right mic for your voice.
