I had several ideas about a vocal booth. From building one in the closet to making sound absorbing panels to place around me. However after reading questions and comments on this forum, I realized that others have already tried my ideas and they didn't work all that well. I also received a lot of ideas and insight from other more experienced home studio "engineers". So I went to Harbor Freight and purchased some mover's blankets for 5 bucks each,(an idea I learned here) and hung them on two adjacent walls, set up my condenser with my back to the covered walls. I made a few test recordings and it sounded pretty darn good, except that I'm not that great of a singer lol. Anyway I guess I'm just trying to say thanks to everyone on this forum who contributed to my free education, and saved me a lot of time and money. Thanks guys!
