vm 200 applying effects

help i can not apply effects to the mix from my vm 200 could some please tell me how?I have a fostex vm 200/and a lexcore 2 soundcard / cakewalk 9.03 i hook the vm 200 and soundcard via adat/ or s/pdif. please help!!!!!!! this is getting on my nerves. also what is the best way to monitor the mix with my setup? im getting no pan seperation right now.
 
I'm not quite sure I understand your problem but here are a few things.

The Effects are not output to the Digital Outs (ADAT or SPDIF)...I discovered this as a limitation of the mixer.
If you set effects on the Input the effects are not automatically set for the ADAT return.
You have to set them for both! IOW, each layer of the board (Input/ADAT) is seperate and not shared.
