I used to use cool edit/adobe audition on my old pc, but now I have a macbook pro. I've been fooling around with some programs (logic, digital performer, bias peak, etc.) with audition I could simply switch to the edit view, apply effects and immediately see the visual outcome (and obviously the sonic). I'm having a lot of trouble using plugins because, although they still do what I need them to do, I really would like to see what I'm doing visually also. Does anyone know how I can achieve this in the mentioned daw's. If I can't can you suggest something for mac..... I can't get my hands on all my choices. I don't mind destructive editing since I'm not applying alot of effects that constantly need to be tweaked....
