Vista Home Premium Firewire Interface

Okay, i know this is about my 5th thread, but I keep on doing research! And it sounds like a firewire interface may be better for me than a USB

Are there any that you guys can recommend that work with Vista Home Premium?

Iv read nothing but good things about the Apogee Duet, but im not sure if it would work with my edition of vista...

Apogee is Apple Mac compatible only.

Unless your PC is still equpped with USB 1.x or has USB 2.0 so loaded down with USB devices already that there's no bandwidth left, ther's no real advantage to your using FW instead of USB for only two channels.

I'd look at the Tascam or PreSonus stuff if I were you.

i bought the presonus audio box and an i5 mic...hopefully it works out well!

Fuck Vista. Pony up for windows 7, you'll be glad you did. Drivers are 1000000000x better.

Alright i just installed it,and it sounds pretty good?

What recording software should i look for so i can sync up my playing with a song im playing to (im doing bass covers)?
