Virtual Guitarist VST not working

Hello all,

I had been using VG with Sonar 3 under Windows 2000, but recently upgraded to Windows XP. VG does not load under any host software now. In Sonar, using the VST adapter, the .dll is seen but freezes during the scan and does not register the plugin. In Acid 4 Pro the VST plugin is not recognized at all, despite loading others without any problems. I have tried reinstalling at least three times, without success. Any recommendations?

Only Mac OS has an update. I'm on WinXP. Thanks, but this one is has me baffled.
