virtual guitar effects?

can anyone recommend a good software (price does not matter) for electric guitar effects?....distortions, wah wah,reverb..etc.

i am completely fed up with these pedals and messing with them. i need effects for recording, so i dont need the pedals, as i can add effects later

Plus there are several hardware guitar modelers that might do you some good. Try looking for:

- Line6 POD
- Boss GT series
- Behringer V-amp
- VOX Tonelab

Good luck finding a suitable replacement for your stomp boxes.
