Yeah I been drinkin, SO!?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question, but I got no help on either the beat-making or protools sections.

What's your favorite virtual drums program for protools? I was all set to buy ezdrummer, but it's incompatible with protools 6.4, the latest version avalilable to us digi001 users. So, what other options do you like? I'm trying to quit fruityloops, as I'm forced to relentlessly import/export during projects every time I so much as want to pan a tom a little differently. I'd like to do all of my work in pt if possible. Thanks!

It sounds to me like ProTools is your problem if it doesn't like any of your other programs.

Just ezdrummer so far. Luckily, I found this out before I bought it. Just looking for alternatives.

EZ Drummer is fantastic. I do all my songs on it and people really like them. No many have been able to tell they are not real drums.

+1 ..I have Superior Drummer 2.0 and the fact that you can route the drums out to their own tracks like you were had mics on a kit is pretty awesome. :D

Yeah, I used ezd at a friend's, loved it. But like I say, I can't use it with my current setup. Any alternative suggestions?

I have to recommend Battery 3. It's got 2 dvds of amazing sounding drum samples. Multiple hit samples for a lot of the main kits, and good humanizing settings, makes it pretty indistinguishable from a real drummer.

For plugin:
Stand-alone, Audio Units, VST, DXi, RTAS under Pro Tools 7, ASIO

Check out the samples on their site:

I use battery exclusively for my drumming needs.
