Virtual drum triggers?

Hey. I was just wondering if it is possible to get midi notes to trigger using an audio track in Sonar 2.2

I mean, say I have this bass drum track that is from me playing the drums, and I want to add a sampled kick sound to the song, is there any way I can get the sample to play when the bass drum is played? Like a trigger, but without the physical triggers....

Thanks, I'll check it out. It's mainly because a friend wants me to help him with this hiphop thing he is trying to organise with some local MCs. I don't like hiphop, but I said I'd help him. I don't think I'll be able to get the right sound out of my drums, but we'll see......
