Yeah I was just wondering if I wanted to get some of my own tracks pressed to vinyl how much bread am I lookin at per track? Are there studios set up specifically for vinyl pressing? How (possible) much is it to get a vinyl presser of my own? Can't decide if Chriss or SPIN will answer first, I gots my money on SPIN.

gemini makes a home vinyl presser but it is so extremely exensive and it's a real slow-action one as well.. there are plenty of places you can go to.. if you live in uk, you have Prime and shit like that. But you'll also find places for you to press white label vinyls all over.. maybe even in yo' own backyard...

Just do a search on some search engine on the web and say "vinyl pressing".. you'll find loads..

Look to spend between $9000-11,000 to press your own vinyls!

Yeah, pressing your own vinyl will hit you in the pockets. :(

I'll post you with some companies and addresses when I get back from the studio. :)

Sorry bout' you losing your money on da' bet. :D

It's all good, it was really an evil plot to get Chriss to answer anyways, well no but just one of y'all I knew would be there, should've known to put MR.Q in the runnings as well. Yeah I guess I was/am completely ignorant more or less to how and where and of course how much a presser would be. It would just be really cool if I could spin some of my own shit in between a couple nice Bedrock tracks or with em. Anyways thanks for the reality check. Too bad places minimums are 100 atleast, I'd love to get just one or two copies of a few tracks. Allright boys, peace love and shit.

bootlegs = acetates
Yessss sir, but the gemini home vinyl presser also works on acetates and so i see no reason dont to go and make bootlegs.

That is what I trying to say.

A bootleg is actually what most people would call an "acetate".

It will only last for 35 to 50 palying times.

Here is place that presses vinyl. If you get it from them, it'll come out to about $3.00 US per record.

ACME VINYL
press above

:D
