Vintage Head & Rubber Cleaner

LUNE

Anyone know how stable this stuff is? It must be from '85 or '87.
Is it still safe to use or not worth it?
I like the cans though - I guess I didn't show anything size relative in the photo, but they are about the size of a red bull, though a little wider.

I wouldn't use it myself, but I'd keep the cans. Nice nostalgic stuff.

Markertek sells new stuff priced decently. Got some for mine.

I recently bought some Caig rubber cleaner and asked them specifically about the shelf life of the product and they told me approx. 3 years.

Now, I don't know what the chemical composition is of either of those products and also don't know what if any damage may occur from using aged chemicals?

Perhaps the head cleaner might still be fine if its alcohol based. As for the rubber cleaner, try it on a scrap piece of rubber and see what it does, if anything to it...perhaps an old pencil eraser?

Then again, the Caig rep might have been BS'ing me in order to keep me coming back for more product and, as there is no expiry date printed on the cans, perhaps the shelf life is pretty good?

Cheers! :)
