Video Mixdown Problems

When I try to mixdown a video file (avi or mpeg) joined to an audio track, I get this error message:
Unable to preserve the video compression, aborting save.
Can someone help me please?

You using Audition for this?

Sounds like you haven't got the appropriate video codec available on your system, or Audition can't find it.
