Video/Keyboard/Mouse Extensions

Any one use the cables from http://www.networktechinc.com/ ?
Seems like you could get a 25-foot Video/Mouse/Keyboard cable for under $50. You could even go longer if you wanted to (up to 250 feet without any of those KVM extender thingies which cost $$$$) I'm looking into moving my PC out of my tracking/mixing room and this looks like a good deal.
Semi-related - anyone have any tips on getting a longer cable for my Delta 44 Breakout Box? The M-Audio site says it's a proprietary cable you have to buy from them. They sell a 6-footer which you can daisy chain with another 6-footer to get a longer cable run. This seems like a pain.

Thanks!

With video you wont be able to extend more than about 6feet before you see serious degradation in the video signal. It's not a big deal for practical purposes but if you intend to go 50ft you will need a video distribution amp to even see the signal. One way of cheating is to get a fan tail that will split the VGA monitor jack into seperate RGB video component signals for the long run and then combine then back to a VGA cable at the end. Even then you may still need an amp over 25ft.

You could just buy a wireless RF keyboard and mouse!;)

I've been using one from Logitech for over 2 years now. The range is pretty good. I could have my PC in a bedroom in my old apt, connect the video to a TV via the video out on my video card, and surf the web on my TV in the living room. It had to be at least 30ft...
