My sister video taped a gig of mine (using a crummy VHS camcorder) and I dumped the audio to my PC using Sound Forge. Now I'm looking to clean up the sound. My main concern is that high pitched noise...I don't know how to explain it exactly...but you know the noise you hear when a TV is on? I'm sure you know what I'm talking about when it comes to the audio of a video you recorded with a crappy VHS recorder. I want to get rid of or at least reduce it. Is there anything I can do? What else do you guys suggest that Sound Forge has that I could use to clean up my recording?
