is it possible to mix what ive recorded on my vf160 on my computer?

if so, what kind of software/hardware will i need?

if you have a pc - theres really no pint in limiting yourself to low track counts on a vf. also its a hassle to transfer tracks to and fro.
a good newish pc can do 40 tracks easy.
heres some free tutorials....related to recording on a pc.

if you have Q's ask.
one advantage of a pc is even if it puffs out at 40 tracks , you just mix to stereo - start a new session, import the stereo mix into the new session ,
and add 39 more tracks.

VF to computer

The VF160 can save as WAV files. I use a (reusable) CDRW.
The website for N Track is actually www.fasoft.com.

But there are also free versions of 'Traktion' by Mackie out there, which has had really good reviews for its simplicity. The retail version is about $80 I think.

I still like the VF for recording - simple, solid and no latency.
