VF160 LCD Display Bulb Change?

Has anybody tried changing the light bulbs for the VF-160 LCD display? ["How many Fostex users does it take..."]
From their orange-y glow, I'd guess that they're incandescent. [Voltage? Current draw?]

So, can I assume that, of all of the VF160s sold, not a single one has has one of those incandescent bulbs burn out? Or, that everybody sent the VF160 to Fostex for repair? I have the service manual, but there's nothing that I can find that shows how to get to the bulbs.
