Alright Ginzoo!

If you get the time post the make and model of the hardrive that you got to work with your VF over on the VF 16 board. It'll blow their mind that a drive NOT on the Fostex "approved" media list actually works.

replaced hard disk with one quoted as compatible on Fostex own website...bastards

uh Uuh! NO DISK..not recognised.

put old drive back in...still not working UNLESS I press the green PLAY button SERIOUSLY hard..that works but I shouldna have to do it and the pressure will, I'm sure, soon cause more trouble...any one wanna buy a 20Gb hard disk..ha ha.fuck this.

at least I can record but its a messy way to work having crap buttons, I might have a look inside and jiggle stuff about..

I might just go for a beer.

Hope that jazz thing is kickin' off.

Hey shelfy, if we lived a little bit closer to each other I'd buy you that beer.:D And loan you my soldering iron for that bad play button switch. I have a 10 pound maul (sledge-hammer) that you can borrow.

Kramer, they won't let me post over at the vf16 site right now. I'll try again later once I figure out what is wrong with my password options. :D

The jazz is not flowing right now but it will come back soon.

My vf-16 hard drive will not initialize and was tested and is dead. How much is a new hard drive with the FDMS-3 all ready on it? Or where do I get the software and how do I download it if I buy a blank hard drive? Thanks for any info!

harddrive bearing

Rough break. Last time my harddrive crashed and burned, I used a bit of the old WD-40 to free it up.

Sure, I wasn't able to recover any data, but that ferocious yodeler spun like Michael Jackson on crack in day care center...

If WD-40 doesn't work, use axle grease.

:D :D :D

I thought about the WD-40 but was'nt quite sure if it would mess with the info on it.
Love the description of speed,cellardweller.
