very small song

Hi there. This song is really just a fill. I have a wav editor on my laptop and it is great fun! I use it now to add reverb and EQ after recording on the four track.

I cant host my songs at NWR but WATYF has been a real Gem and let me put them up on his site. Lets try this then.

This song took 20 minutes to record and the guitar and vocal were recorded at the same time. Very dodgy take but turned out quite cool. What do you think?

sjcrts. That was a real nice thing to say. Yes, there was something wrong with this mix but the song was quite cool I thought. I think I will just scrap it and do it again. All the best.

It's good nice!

- Love the intro!
- Really like the alternate finger-picking on the guitar! (Real players RULE OK!!!!!!!)
- The phrase @ 0:20 my ear longs to hear the backup vocal sing the same note the octave higher.
- The melodic phrase when you go "sweet" @ 0:32, I would leave the first phrase the same, the go for the descending scalic phrase on the second ones and keep the same pattern until the change. EG. The first time "you" sing "Hold Me" as D-A, the second phrase I suggest you sing the "Hold Me" as C-G etc...
- I would like to hear the rhythm guitar come in with the change @ 0:46 really hitting the on-beats with a bum-bum-Bum-BUm-BUM-BUM!-BUM!!-BUM!!!-BUM!!!! feel.

Now tell me about your damn sexy equipment and singer! Post more of him singing in that upper register!

You should be signed Erland. I will buy a copy of your "challenge" for sure, If you are selling. Oh and I hate you for making it seem so easy :D
