very serious problem

i dunno y, after i re-installed cubase sx2, everything is ok, but when i do the very final step --- mixdown, my computer stuck at that moment, need to press the restart button .

it druve me crazy, today when i restart my pc, it's said the file was damage and cannot open...........what the...!

my pc spec:
M-audio delta66
Amd xp 2600+
1 GB ram
1 seagate 80G + 1 Maxtor 200 G HD

OUCH! Better check the integrity of your hd asap.

sounds like the file was damaged at some point, I had this problem for a little while on my old harddrive, there would be parts of the song that if i played them, it would lock up.

could be that your HD is writing errors

hope you back your stuff up (DVD)
