Very limited mics

I fancy Fancy
Hi

My band has 1 x SP B1 and 2 x SM58's. What do you think would be the best configuration of these to record drums at home ?

1. B1 as mono overhead. SM58 for snare and kick.

2. SM58's as stereo overheads. B1 a couple of feet out in front of kick.

technique 1= requires a good drummer
technique 2= requires a better drummer (one that can faithfully mix self)
